About This Site
I have been blogging on this site since December of 2001.
Prior to that I maintained a simple personal web site at this
URL. I tend to write about daily events in my life and news
that I find interesting.
This site and the site I host for The Sons of Mary
are served up via my Speakeasy DSL
connection.
My DNS services are provided by Zone Edit.
This site was developed using Java Server Pages technology. It
runs on a single processor 2.8GHz P4 PC with 512MB RAM. I use
JBoss/Tomcat as my
web application container.
This site utilizes a set of custom JSP tags I developed especially for this site.
The tags allow for a hierarchical and componentized construction of the site that
greatly simplify construction and maintenance.
